We’re proud to offer a vintage-correct replacement keystone (tulip) button for Kluson Deluxe tuners. The RetroSpec Exclusive Series Keystone Tuner Buttons in single-ring style solve the age-old problem with original Kluson tuners: the buttons degrade. Made from an early plastic that shrinks and becomes brittle over decades, original Kluson keystone buttons eventually crack, crumble, or fall off entirely.
Our RetroSpec Keystone Buttons are made to the correct single-ring spec — matching the profile used on 1958–1960 Les Paul Bursts and ES-335 dot necks. They drop in as direct replacements without modification, giving you a durable replacement that looks and fits exactly like the original.
Replace your crumbling vintage tuner buttons or upgrade your new tuners with vintage-correct RetroSpec replacements in the authentic single-line, single-ring keystone style from 1958–1960.
Each button features the keystone (tulip) profile with a translucent pearloid appearance and the distinct single-ring detail. Built for direct compatibility with Kluson Deluxe tuners, they install without modification.
Choose between NOS (New Old Stock) for a clean vibe, or Aged for that well-loved, road-worn appearance. Perfect for restorations, conversions, or any player chasing the golden age of tone and craftsmanship. Every aged piece is hand-treated, resulting in slight variations that give each one its own unique character.
Bring your tuners back to life with vintage-correct detail — only from RetroSpec.
