The pickguard bracket is a small piece with a visible job: it holds the guard in the right place and, on a vintage-correct build, it has to look the part while doing it. Ours is built to original late-1950s specification — accurate dimensions, correct shape, and a gold finish matched to the warm tone of period hardware.

It's a complete assembly, not just the bracket. Each one includes the mounting screw, the nut, and the locking washer — everything needed to install it properly and keep it secure.

You also choose the screw to match your build: Phillips or slotted. Slotted is the correct choice for the earliest instruments; Phillips suits later-spec and Historic Reissue builds. Either way, the detail is right for the guitar you're working on.

Choose NOS for a clean, just-installed look, or Aged for a well-loved, road-worn character. And the aging here isn't a generic tumble or a chemical dip — it's done by hand in the Historic Makeovers shop, the same aging that goes onto the instruments our clients trust us with. Every aged piece is treated individually, so each one carries slight variations that make it its own.

The finishing detail that brings a vintage restoration together — from the guard down to the screw.
