We're proud to offer a key detail for proper vintage fitment on Les Paul guitars — the RetroSpec Exclusive Series Steel Stop Tailpiece Bushings. Made from durable steel and built to the correct vintage dimensions, these bushings ensure your tailpiece sits at the proper height for a clean, period-correct installation.

Two lengths — measure before you order.

For vintage Gibson Les Pauls, the tailpiece holes accept vintage-length bushings. However, 2012 and earlier Gibson Historic Les Pauls were not drilled as deeply and require Historic-length bushings — unless you drill them out to accept vintage length. Starting in 2013, Gibson began drilling Historic models deeper, allowing the use of vintage-length bushings and studs.

Measure your guitar before ordering to make sure you choose the correct length for your instrument.

Each set includes two steel bushings, built for a solid connection and clean vibration transfer between tailpiece and body.

Currently offered in NOS (New Old Stock) — clean, correct, and ready to install.
